Dr. Helmut Heinle is a Professor in Physiology at the Institute of Physiology of the University of Tuebingen, Germany. His research areas include aspects of basic physiology of kidney and erythrocytes as well as special features of inflammatory diseases of the arterial vessel wall and the intestinal tract. Special fields of interest are the importance of oxidative stress and the characterization and application of antioxidants and herbal drugs.
