Dr. Sarasija Suresh has completed her PhD in Pharmaceutics from Mangalore University in 1997. Her research areas include formulation research and development, preformulation studies, Strategies for enhancing bioavailability of drug molecules, new and conventional drug-delivery systems and optimization, Implementation of Quality by Design (QbD) approach in product development, patenting strategies, etc. She has over hundred publications in international and national journals, filed thirteen patents, authored several book chapters and text book of pharmaceutical engineering. She is a reciepient of several awards and fellowships including DAAD, Wellcome Trust, AICTE Career Award for Young Teachers, STARS award for excellence in teaching and research and APTI Woman of Year. She has several best paper awards in conferences and journals.
